Way Station's Dan Lavign Named Mr. Mt. Washington Valley

Congrats to Dan! Seven worthy participants represented their nonprofit causes. Dan will serve as the crowned representative of the Way Station and Mt Washington Valley's nonprofit community for the next two years. His runner-up, Malcolm Badger, representing Jen's Friends will also serve at many public functions.

Members of the Way Station team, including Board members and volunteers, attended the event to cheer Dan. The audience was moved by the passion and presence of every representative and the many causes that elevate life in Mt. Washington Valley.

Dan's participation was sponsored by Dave’s Gourmet Popcorn and Lemonade, The Snow Village Inn, and Keller Williams Realty; their generosity offset the cost of entry into the event, so all funds raised went directly to the Way Station.

All in all, with additional contributions on the day of the event, Dan raised an estimated $4,000 for the Way Station. $500 of the total was contributed by Valley Promotions in recognition of his winning participation. He was judged for his interview, his public presentation, and his runway walk in formal attire. 10% of his score was earned through donations.
