Pastor Nathan Hall and Way Station development director Karen Alpert recently came to Sun TV to talk about a grant that's been applied for and a concert that's happening Aug. 15.
A few excerpts: ... said Hall. "One of the things we're hoping to do is renovate the building. So that we can have a few units of transitional housing, this is not a shelter, this is housing for people who would be able to hold down housing on their own if they could find a space." Two to four units would be created.
... The Nashville-based acoustic instrumental band Hawktail will be performing at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center in Fryeburg on Aug. 15 starting at 7 p.m. The band consists of fiddler Brittany Haas, bassist Paul Kowert and guitarist Jordan Tice. The suggested donation is $50.
(Note from Way Station: Link to reserve concert tickets for Thurs, Aug 15th. We want everyone to be able to attend, so the tickets are based on donations;

contribute whatever you're able to donate -- suggested value is $50/ticket.) https://waystation.networkforgood.com/events/71971-hawktail?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR0eqjrYN1tSThCJC3aRTTk2lJdhR19XZ5Vv4y8ueVhhqaY26NQ2jV0WsoM_aem_x2Sphpbqu-BJ0JK8nCNxQw
