If you hear about the Way Station as a sponsor on NPR, we're clarifying that a Friend of the Way Station provided a grant to us that was designated by the donor to fund a cycle of radio spots, wherein the Way Station is mentioned as sponsors of programming. Our sponsorships of NPR are, thys, supported by one private donation earmarked directly for awareness-raising via NPR.
The Way Station does not pay for any form of promotion or advertising. Further, we want to clarify that all financial donations are used to support services to our clients. Our operational costs (overhead such as insurance, Client Coordinator staff salary, etc), at this time, are covered by charitable grants from NH Charitable Trust, federal funding for COVID response, and community support from local churches and other nonprofits.
